Bertrand LandrO is a French shoe designer who works and lives in Barcelona, Spain. After 10 years as marketing executive in FMGF company, he decided to come back to his first passion: Fashion and Shoe design. He studied a Master in fashion design in ELISAVA school of Design (Barcelona) and was selected to attend to the ‘Ecole de Style’ of famous shoe designer Robert Clergerie in 2008.

Bertrand LandrO: ‘I get inspiration from my country and rural origins as in my attraction for the french ‘Parisian Couture’ spirit, strict knack and snob. I like especially the mix of these two universes a priori opposite (the ‘fur’ like primitive and luxurious element at the same time). From there my predilection for the fur, fetish element present in my creations. From there also my passion for the massive silhouettes, strict and geometrical, organic mix of primitive forms and futuristic urban lines. From there finally, last but not least, my obsession for the heel, child a little badly loved in my opinion. My desire is to seek new heels, to give them a true statute; they are the keystone of the shoe and the silhouette. That’s why I’m working more as a ‘Chercheur de Talons’ than a shoe designer…
