The first phase of computer modeling is to create a wire-frame - after that you fill in the facets to create the item in 3D. In the eighties 3D computer games were entirely in wire-frame. These shoes are part of a series of everyday objects depicted in real-life wire-frame.
Stepping into these shoes is like stepping into a virtual 3D world. After all, this is the virtual shoe museum.
These Wire Shoes (size 7 shoes, galvanized wire) are available from the Red Door Gallery, Edinburgh.
