About You
From its inception, U-Lace has been about You – the end user, the consumer. That’s why we named the company ‘U’ Lace. Though we all share the same planet, we are all unique individuals who possess our own passions, sense-of-style, and desires. U-Lace was created to empower people across the globe to simply Color Their World however they wish.

About U-Lace
U-Lace is the result of a deliberate effort by global trend-spotter and U-Lace founder Tim Talley (the guy above in the coaches shorts, shell-toe Adidas and dooky-rope chain) to find an idea for a new product that could transform the world in a way that was exciting, creative, innovative, and empowering all at the same time. That idea was found in Harajuku, Tokyo – one of the coolest places on the planet. Fittingly U-Lace was named the #1 Hot New Trend product in Japan. Distributed in over 40 countries and sold in some of the worlds hottest shops, including Colette in Paris, U-Lace is rapidly changing the way people lace up and how they express themselves from head to toe.

There are well over 40 known U-Lace lacing patterns. Recently, the winner of our Win Free Kicks For A Year contest created several lace-ups that we had never seen or thought of. So there are likely even more patterns out there to be discovered. If you come up with a new pattern let us know and if we verify it to be new, unique and different from any pattern we’ve already seen we’ll give you a prize pack and even add your pattern to our lacing guide. Remember, you can use patterns not just for creating cool designs but also for fine-tuning the snugness and feel of your U-Laces.
