[description] => Shoe Fleur: A Footwear Fantasy
'The book project Shoe Fleur: A Footwear Fantasy began with a picture of a leaf I had taken for a client,' says Michel. 'The leaf was turned upside down and I remember saying out loud to no one in particular, ‘that leaf looks like a shoe.’ And, after a move here and a twist there, I had created my first shoe fleur, appropriately named La Première.'
After La Première, Michel was hooked. Each morning for a year he went to the flower market at dawn to bring the freshest, most glorious blooms back to the studio. As the months passed, each shoe fleur emerged with a name and a story. “Every accessory became as unique as the flower or plant I used to make it,” says Tcherevkoff. With names such as Callous Lily, Fort Knox and Escargot each visual is a witty cultural quip.
With Diane von Furstenberg writing the Introduction to Shoe Fleur and Ferruccio Ferragamo writing the Preface, a launch evening at the Museum of Arts and Design, gallery exhibitions in New York and Paris, press coverage in magazines ranging from Elle to US Magazine, Michel has just been discovered as an important contemporary artist.
The images of Shoefleur are for sale in a limited signed edition of 25.

He noticed that the traditional wooden clogs were dissapering from the market. People stopt buying the clogs. The softwoodenshoe has a soft instep, what makes wearing them very comfortable and painless.
The Softwoodenshoes are permanently shown in the 'Klompenmuseum 't Oale Ambacht' in Goor, The Netherlands.

[description] => This shoe sculpure is part of a series of 20 sculptures of shoes dedicated to the most relevant women in history, literature, cinema and comics. This project has been commissioned by Superstudio Milan and ANCI, and chosen as opening event for the MICAM 2006.
Salomè
In one act of O. Wilde’s tragedy, Salomè, the daughter of Herodiade, the Herod’s wife, agrees to dance for the king when he proposes her anything she could desire. When Salomè finishes dancing for the Judaea’s tetrarch, in a sinuous dialectical crescendo she obtains the preacher man’s head, Iokanaan, guilty of having offended her mother Herodiade but above all, guilty of not having kissed Salomè. Once obtained the head on a silver platter she can finally kiss the one who refused her. After this scene, Herod figured out the monstrosity to whom he has agreed due to the incestuous attraction for Salomè and order to kill the very object of his desire. This sandal is made of velvet and beads bands, the same I presume she was wearing during her furious dance, and by a blade for heel, as the blade of the sword that first cut the preacher man’s head off and secondly hers.

[description] => Double Dutch ClogsDouble Dutch is a small collection of clogs and aprons.
The clog collection arose from a longstanding interest in folklore and traditional customs. To make some of the pairs of clogs, old trades like knitting, crochet and embroidery were used. By changing forms and materials, and above all by playing with the context of the well known Dutch clog, five pairs of clogs resulted, each with their own character and function, balancing on the borders of product and sculpture.
