Part of the collection ‘Religio communis (common religion)’, 2015.

Inspired by Christianity, the Holy Trinity (the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit) and the world map (meridians and parallels), these both themes I have incorporated in my shoes just as the continents with its own capricious outlines. Ichtus: The symbol of a fish which is now known as ‘the ichthus symbol’ (Jesus Christ, God’s son and the savior).

Material: leather, beads and rhinestones.

Third year assignment 2013, choose an ethnical shoe and create a replica, then design a collection of 4 pairs of shoes, for the Academy of Fine Arts in Sint-Niklaas Belgium (SASK).
